Try something new this Summer.
Take advantage of our long, windy days and join us at Deep Cove Yacht Club for our Adult Learn to Sail program. Whether you’re a complete novice or looking to polish your skills, we have a course for your needs. Our 4-week sessions run Saturdays ( 3:00 PM – 6:30 PM) and offer the perfect blend of technical instruction and breathtaking scenery.
Because sailing is a physical sport, participants should be comfortable swimming and able to move easily on their hands and knees to navigate the cockpit. Come master the wind, meet a great community, and discover your new favourite hobby in the heart of the Cove!
Our Offers
Location: Deep Cove Yacht Club
Fee: $335 per 4 week session
Schedule: Saturdays, 3:00 PM – 6:30 PM (4-week sessions)
Refine your skills and learn how to work as a crew. CANSail 2 is operated in larger C420 dinghies which introduce the role of skipper and crew while working on developing a higher level of sailing skills.
Prerequisite CANSail 1 or equivalent experience
Perfect for complete beginners, take control of your own RS Zest* and learn the fundamental skills of sailing while working towards your CANSail 1 certificate!

Arrive, and rig your boat for the day
Receive a lesson, review from prior days and get your questions answered
Get sailing with on the water support and feedback from our coaches
Return and debrief the day
